Are you aware that there are different Moneyalities? When you identify your Moneyality, you can learn how to balance circulating and saving, take responsibility for your personal financial decisions, and become a Moneyish Student with a balanced approach to handling money.

My creative juices of combining money personality into one word originated “MONEYALITY”. Moneyality means money personality which describes how we think and feels about money. In learning your money personality, your mindset begins to focus not just on how you interact with money, but also it provides a clearer understanding of our behavior when making financial decisions and how we go about circulating, saving, and investing. Moneyailty became my passion for researching money and psychology. After over seven years of studying money personalities and financial strategies, I felt it was befitting to call myself Ms. Moneyologist. As Ms. Moneyologist, I am an expert on the topic of Moneyality. Your innate moneyality starts within your earlier years as part of your financial DNA.

I remember as a child, I learned to save money to purchase my favorite things: “Snowballs and Popcorn” which was the start to establishing my saving habits which have become my primary personality.  As an adult, I went through many phases in my life where I was a fanatic saver of my money. I have been called a “cheapskate, selfish, frugal, get-overer” and possibly other names because it also affected my relationships with family, friends, and interactions with people, in general. I was known to give gifts that I thought someone needed versus gifts that they liked or wanted. This behavior haunted me for many, many years, and I did not know why. However, it was in 2015 when I had a very serious medical challenge and was not returning to my job as a teacher that I discovered why I was such an amazing saver???? and also an awful gift-giver????. I found answers to my “Why” reading a book about money personalities of children. The book gave examples of characteristics that describe me as a child. This book gave me the idea to help teach you your money personality to provide you with information early so that you can make healthy financial decisions that match your money characteristics and maintain healthy relationships with people.

Moneyality types display many characteristics like “Splurger or Keeper” and “entrepreneur or worker bee”. People’s money habits tend to fit into five Moneyality categories: Spluger, Keeper, Tracker, Venturer, and Mingler. Most people have a primary and secondary personality type. If you feel drawn toward two categories, this could be the case for you.

Ms. Moneyologist learned in her research that all five Moneyality characteristics exist in each of us. Since all five personalities are within us, the logo for Moneyality is designed as an infinity symbol letter M. There is the Primary and Secondary as the two top circles in the letter M. The bottom three circles links to the top circles which intertwines meaning that they are the concept of something that is unlimited, endless, without bound which signifies qualities of all five Moneyalities within each person.
